The sharpest tools in the shed

August 15th, 2005

Casey and I had quite a weekend. We drove from our apartment to Casey’s mom’s house in seacoast New Hampshire. Then down to my parent’s house in New Jersey and back up here to Cambridge in one day.

Um yeah, we are idiots.

Why did we do that? Well, we bought that dresser on ebay and saved a few hundred dollars and then decided it wouldn’t be a big deal to have my dad pick it up and then we could go get it in our Corolla. Of course, that huge box didn’t fit in our car so we had to borrow Casey’s mom’s minivan. I know, we are not the smartest…

….but this is in our apartment now! Yippi!

(For the tons of people who asked where it is originally from, go here.)

In other news, I am crying my eyes out watching the last few episodes of Six Feet Under. Man, that show is screwed up.

*sniff*

Wait a minute! Looks like this dresser was made for your room (or the room made for the dresser?? 😉 Looks like it has finally come home 🙂

I have to agree about Six Feet Under. It is totally warped, but I am gonna miss it like crazy when it’s gone. The last few eps have been absolutely phenomenal. I just can’t wait to see how they end it. It should be interesting…

ahh… roadtrips that aren’t necessarily for fun at all. Gotta love those. 😉

I haven’t gotten into Six Feet Under…yet. I imagine it will be like every other show i get into – late on the bandwagon. Ah well…

I love the dresser. I just finished Season 2 of Six Feet Under this summer. I love that show. I can’t wait to see the next two seasons!

I covet your dresser. It’s sooooo pretty. I, too, often think things will fit in my Corolla that absolutely WILL NOT. It’s kinda fun to try though. Glad you two finally got the dresser home!

LOVE the new dresser! It’s so cute! I bought my dresser at an antique shop and I seem to like the used furniture! haha. Six feet under is depressing lately. I have to watch the last epi to catch up but my mom says its screwed up.

What a pretty dresser! Having drawers to cram stuff in is a godsend. Do you happen to know what paint color is on your walls? It’s lovely.
