A few happy things
Yesterday, I stopped off at Woolcott on the way home to pick up some yarn for the Flower Basket Shawl. All the way home, I was praying that I would find a parking space because the store closes at 6 so I wouldn’t have time to go home, park, and walk into the square. And it happened! Someone was pulling out just in front of the store and I slid right in! A miracle!
So what did I buy? ooooh… cashmere/ silk heaven!

AND since I got a parking space, Casey and I could have a nice dinner and get some mochi ice cream for dessert. The Lollicup is not in Harvard Square anymore, our original mochi place, but there is a Boston Tea Stop there instead (haha- get it, the boston transportation system is called the “T”) and look at the cute mochi boxes they have!
AND! Tonight, I discovered a little package waiting for me when I got home… from Anne Marie! What a great surprise!
Wrapped so pretty!
It is an adorable little purse, some kisses stickers, and a sunshine colored little pouch (hand-knit or is it crocheted?) with yummy peach soap inside. I was carrying it up to my apartment and I could smell something good- it made me run up those stairs! Casey also got a t-shirt- he was thrilled that she thought of him.
Thanks so much, Anne Marie!
Okay, I am going to go knit a little more on my Flower Basket Shawl, try to ignore the movie Casey is “watching” (not playing on his computer at all!), and attempt to breathe out of my clogged nose. Sniff!

Do you like the Burdick’s chocolate shop, too? I’ve only been once (it opened after I’d left MA), but the hot chocolate was divine! Mmmmmm! What fun prezzies!

Glad you liked it…I was worried the soap would melt!
Hope Casey didn’t think it was weird that I sent him that FREE t-shirt. But I wanted him to have a present too!
