Sleepy girl
I have so much to say here but I am sooo tired.
We went to see wedding sites today (eeee!!) and it was super fun. Now we are trying to figure out if we can even afford the place that we like, Cranwell Resort and Spa.
Here are some pictures of the resort. There is a big mansion where we would have the reception (ballroom) and brunch the next morning. The ceremony site is just outside the big veranda with the awning and it overlooks the trees and mountains. The ballroom has wonderful windows and it is just the right size for our wedding. (The chairs are awful in those pictures but they are going to replacing them in January- thank goodness.)
We actually stayed at this resort for our 5 year anniversary a few years ago and it was soooo nice. The staff is amazing and there is a spa and golf course (for the girls and boys respectively).
Let me know what you think because we are still making a decision!! yaay!

If you love it go for it!! Do what YOU feel is right. This is, after all, your day and you should be happy with the where how and why.. It looks wonderful to me…

That place is GORGEOUS. And golf is fun, too. But I think Amy’s right– If you like it, get married there!

Beautiful!!!! But in one of those pics you look really stressed out… do we need to have an intervention already????
Kidding… I say, if the funds work, do it. This is just one day in your life, but its one of the most important ones, so do what makes YOU (and Casey) happiest!

That place looks spectacular! I’d put my vote in for it as well. What month are you thinking for the date? Whatever the time, it looks like it would be perfect.
You did look a bit worried in that picture, I agree! Maybe you were overwhelmed?

What a funny coincidence - I’m from Springfield and I just drove by that resort this weekend as I was looking for Colorful Stitches. It looked great - I hope it works out for you!
