Get me out of here!
I have had this stuck in my head all morning so I thought I would just shut up the voices and tell y’all about it. It is not that good of a story but oh well.
So my friends Jenn and Laura and I have been going to lunch together for about 3 years now. We always joke around that instead of going back to work, we will hop in the car and go to Canada….
Well, I am doing it. I am going to Canada!!
I am doing it not a moment too soon. Yesterday at work was a nightmare. I had to get things ready for my wonderful student worker to work on while I am gone. I had to run all sorts of reports because the boss-man cannot do them. Then, I had a meeting with the boss-lady and she told me that I have to change my hours to 9-5. Bastards. (I usually work from 8-4- that way I can get out when it is actually light out, go to my yoga class, etc. I love my hours.) Sigh. Thanks for telling me that the day before I go on vacation.
Well, we are almost all packed. That is, I am all packed and Casey is ironing everything he is packing. Yes, you heard that right. The boy is nuts, I tell you. He must have everything flat, even though he is putting everything into a suitcase where it will get wrinkled. I do my best to help him but some things you just have to let him do.
haha
I am not sure how much internet access I will have in the great white north… No offense intended to the users of that monstrosity, but I actually downloaded AOL so that I could post from Casey’s grandmother’s account. That is how much I am addicted to blogging. I understand that I have a problem.
Happy Saturday!!

I am with you on the work hours. Who cares when you work…as long as you get your work done, right? Sounds like some control freaks are in your world.
Have a wonderful trip! You have really been sounding like you need a vacation lately. All the best

Ironing before packing? Ha ha!
I agree with you, i would rather go in early and get off early…even though I have some serious issues with getting up early! Oh well…
Have fun in Canada!

What the heck does the Boss-lady care anyway. You don’t even directly report to her. damn the (wo)man!
The positive side thought: More Casey time. Since he gets back later you can feel his pain a little more. Although his pain sucks more than yours . . . I guess that’s a positive too!
