[...] Melody’s shawl, scarf, whatever you want to call it. What a neat concept. Cast on a TON of stitches, join, twist some stitches and then when done, cut.it. Yep, take the scissors to your knitting. You know, a conversational knit. When I try to knit the BSA or turn a heel on a sock, whilst trying to be social, you are sure to find me ripping large sections of my knitting out at a later time. So, to keep frustrations to a minimum, Melody fits the bill. [...]

Your trip sounds amazing. I love that scarf and the tip on the clothespins. DUH clothespins! I didn't need that fancy $2 book holder that breaks the spine.

I soooo need a vacation like that. I'm on a bit of a guacamole kick these days too. As a matter of a fact, I may go make some right now. And I never thought of clothespins...brilliant!

Now that I have seen your shawl I can not wait for the MD Sheep and Wool Festival. I think I am going to that booth first this year. I love the photo of you self medicating. That will be me in two weeks. I have to fly to Florida for work.
