Getting Cold ’round here!

January 17th, 2007

Boy, I know everyone has been complaining in these parts about all the mild weather we have had this winter but I don’t think we really knew what we were asking for!

The winter has arrived finally here in Boston- it has been below 20 degrees all day and I think right now it is around 10 degrees outside Poor Bob doesn’t know what hit him. He shivers on the sidewalk when it is a balmy 50 degrees so when we brought him out today, he just looked at us like, “What are you doing to me??”

And that was in his sweater (that I knit him, of course)! One thing is good about the cold weather, he doesn’t take his time doing his business outside. ;)

Then again, he does have his own methods for keeping warm. One day last week, I found him cuddled up on the couch with Casey and some Amy Boogie fiber that I ordered:

I can’t really blame him- it is merino after all. We all have to keep warm up however we can, right? :)

Bob needs a jumpsuit!! My friend made one for her chihuahua out of leopard print fleece. It was the funniest thing you’ve ever seen – a chihuahua disguised as a ferocious cat.

It seems that Bob knows how to keep warm and look good at the same time. Go Bob!

I bet Bob would be warm in a huge knitted one piece suit made of FUN FUR, then he could pretend he was a lion! He would be the talk of bean town!!!!!!!!
