RIP Fingerless Glove
So sad.
I went to an awesome concert on friday with Maya (Ani DiFranco was awesome!) but sometime that night it must have dropped it out of my purse.
Stupidly, I was carrying it with me so I could compare it to the second one I was knitting… wish I could go back and leave it at home.
I have called every place we went and no one has it. I don’t know if I have enough koigu to make a 3rd one- I would certainly need to make it a lot shorter.
Rest in peace, little friend.
In other news, I am finally recovering from the coughing, snotty plague of hell which I have been enjoying for over a week now. The coughing has almost subsided but I still have no energy. Start taking extra vitamin C and echinacea if you haven’t gotten it already… seriously people.

So tragic! And it was sooo nice too. At least you were lucky enough to know her(?) for a little while.

Oh how HORRIBLE! And I hope you feel better soon.

I hate it when that happens. I had finished knitting one of darin’s socks and lost it ’somewhere’ - I was SO bummed.

Oh no! AMBER ALERT: Handknit on the loose!

My condolences. Really. I would be absolutely heartbroken. That poor little gauntlet, all by itself in the world…

Oh so sad!
Also I’m super jealous - I wanted to go see Ani so badly, but no one I know here has even heard of her, so I couldn’t rope them into going with me. Maybe I’ll tag along with you next time, haha. Did she play mostly her newer stuff, or was there a lot of the old stuff mixed in?

Oh no! How sad! Losing handknits is the worst. But at least you saw Ani, how cool!
I hope you have a speedy recovery.

How sad! It has to be so much worse to lose a handknit item than just any old regular glove.
At least you enjoyed the concert! Ani diFranco’s a hoot isn’t she? I saw her in concert a few years ago, I was extremely surprised at how short she is! It always makes me happy to see other short people

Oh man….that must really hurt. Hurts to read it. So sorry you lost it!
And I’m glad you’re starting to feel better.

Oh man, that’s awful! Ugh, I’m sorry!

Awww, so sad! Glad you’re feeling a bit better, though.

That really, really sucks. I hope it turns up by some miracle.
Try calling the store you got the yarn from and see if they have anymore in that dyelot. You could get really lucky.

Oh, that’s horrible!! I lost my favorite hat once in a restaurant in New York, and I was convinced someone swiped it, but I guess that’s not the case here (keep your eye out for very stylish one-armed thieves though!).
Feel better!

I am sad with you my friend.
I am glad though you are feeling better, I awoke with a sore throat yesterday, and today much worse, I am downing airborne like there is no tomorrow! I also have me some vit C and Echinacea. Tomorrow night I am going out to buy a nice warm coat so I will be warm up there in that cold zone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t wait to see you!

Ouch!! That must really hurt . . . well, we can only hope that your armwarmer has found a good home.
I’m glad the concert was good–she’s so great in concert. And isn’t she pregnant right now?
