Are you allergic to any fibers? Nope!

What are your favorite colors? I love greens and dark red… and deep jewel tones. I don’t really like purple unless it is a really deep eggplant.

Are you a new mitt knitter? How long have you been knitting mittens? I have made a few pairs of mittens… the last pair I made was a couple years ago though.

Do you prefer solid or multicolored yarn? Hmm… I like both!

What fibers do you prefer in mitten yarn? I am kinda a softness snob- Love merino, alpaca, and silk. I am also liking smaller gauge yarns lately…

Where do you usually knit mittens? I like to carry small projects like socks and mittens with me… but tend to knit most on my couch, I guess.

How do you usually carry/store small projects? In my purse. I keep meaning to sew a little fabric project bag but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

What are your favorite mitten patterns? Don’t really have a favorite really… I have been wanting to try some Fair Isle/ Norwegian mitten patterns. Haven’t done much colorwork and would like to learn.

What are your favorite mitten knitting techniques? I just altered a sock pattern to make some fingerless gloves- that was pretty fun!

What new techniques would you like to try? see above

What are your favorite needles for knitting mittens? I usually knit socks, etc with two circulars. Sometimes the small Brittany DPs…

What are some of your favorite yarns? I really like Soy Silk, Koigu, Cherry Tree Hill and Karabella’s Aurora.. gosh I know there are more….

What yarn do you totally covet? I’d love to try some Sundara yarn and I am trying to find the right pattern to make a tweedy cabled/ moss stitch/ seed stitch cardigan with Rowan Felted Tweed. I also have been wanting to try Cotton Fleece since Maya loves it so much.

Any pattern you would love to make if money and time were no object? (see previous question)

Favorite kind of needles (brand, materials, straights or circs, etc)? I have a shamefully large Addi turbo collection. They are my favorites.

If you were a specific kind of yarn, which brand and kind of yarn would you be? Hmmm… Not sure about brand but I would probably be a laceweight merino or

Do you have a favorite candy or mail-able snack? I love a good milk chocolate and hot tamales.

Do you have pets? What are their species/names/ages? I have a six month old Boston Terrier named Bob.

Would you prefer super warm mittens or something more like fingerless mitts? Both!

If you were a color what color would you be? Green

What is your most inspiring image, flower, or object in nature? I love trees- especially old ones.

Do you have a wishlist? Yes, but it is in my real name and I don’t wanna put it on here. I guess I could email it back to my swap partner if they have an anonymous email address.

Anything else you’d like to share with the group today? hmmm… don’t think so!
