Cone-head
October 11th, 2006
My poor little boy…
He seems to be doing okay so far- was uncomfortable in the cone so I took it off. (I am watching him while it is off, don’t worry!)
They said everything went smoothly- whew! So relieved!

I don’t usually let him have a pillow or anything- just so you don’t think I am nuts. He was having a hard time resting his head with the big cone so I put the heating pad under him. Now I don’t have the heart to move him- finally fell asleep…

Oh, poor Bob – he looks like he was out on a bender and someone stuck his head in a cone as a prank!
Bob, I hope you’re feeling better soon. The sight of you with drowsy eyes is almost more than I can bear! *gentle pats for the wee boy’s head*

I know those eyes
they are morphine eyes
Brody has those eyes
Bentley does too
occasionally
But the cone, the cone of silence as we called it
OH MY
Poor Bob!
Did he cry as the drugs wore off? That part is so sad
Tip – benedryl helps with the discomfort and then the itchy stitches, keeps them mellow!

Totally laughing at the “he looks like he was on a bender and someone put the cone on him as a prank” comment.
