Bigger! Faster! More Snorts!

October 5th, 2006

Went on an unforeseen hiatus there for a bit… I am doing okay- haven’t dropped off the planet or anything. I have been going through a bit of a down period but hopefully am coming out of it now. Just didn’t really feel like putting negative energy out here on the web and turned into a hermit in real life as well.

You know what though? People help… at least they do for me. I went to knitting night with my friend Jenn for the first time in over a month and it felt like a breath of fresh air. I have also been trying to fight the stagnation by redoing my resume and looking for something to help us pay that new (ouch) mortgage.

So, I am back… Thanks to those of you who reached out to me. It meant a lot that people actually noticed that I was gone. :)

Just so this post is not totally depressing, here’s some cuteness:

You’ll get over this bump I am sure!! Take care and give Bob lots of hugs, nothing helps deal with stress better than four legged friends. Hugs.

Believe me, I can empathize with those periods of down and hermiting (I tend not to post that stuff on my blog either). I hope you are doing better, and that things continue to look up :)

BOB! So huge – he’s turning into a handsome little man! I want to smoosh that serious little face and kiss him to death.

Glad you’re back! I think we all go through those down periods. Just hang in there.

It’s great to see Bob again! Holy Cow! Those ears! I’ll bet he can pick up Japanese TV stations with those things! Too cute!

Glad to see that you’re back and doing well! It’s funny how concerned I become over other bloggers when I don’t see them post for awhile.

So glad to see you back, FreckleGirl! Puppy’s soooo cute!
And I completely understand about having to have some down-time or me-time. I think I went three months sans posting. Take care of you. And good luck with the job search! =)

Am glad to see you’re still out there. Have also been down, and resisting the urge to blog about it. Glad to see there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

Hey Jess – So glad you’re out knitting! There is nothing like friends and yarn to lift a girl’s spirits. You’re not the only one going through a case of the blahs – or as Holly Golightly so aptly put it, “A case of the mean reds.” If it weren’t for my knitting girls, I swear, I’d be in bed with the covers over my head shouting “Go away” to anyone who knocked on the door.

I love that last photo of Bob. He’s got quite the attitude for a wee little guy, doesn’t he? I can’t figure out if it’s a look of disdain or an “Oh, MOM!” look. Hee hee.

I love the one of him looking out of the corner of his eyes. One of my dogs (Squink) does that – it’s so cute. Great photos! I was wondering what was up, you take care of yourself! I am glad you are starting to feel better. :)

Bob has grown! But he’s still as cute as ever. I’ve been feeling dumpy lately too, but UNwisely, I’ve been blogging through it too. Gotten some notes saying it’s not too pleasant. Oh well. Other than knitting I can’t figure out anything pleasant to blog about lately.

Thanks for the cute Bob photos. I’m thinking I would really life an Boston terrier. Does he bark much?

So weird, I was just pulling up your page to leave you a comment, wondering where you were, on your last post. And you have a new entry! Glad to see you are doing ok….and I missed you :)

(That fisrt sentence is soooo grammatically incorrect. Oh well.)
