Truffles for Breakfast
Happy V Day, everybody!
Look what I woke up to this morning! awww!
I know people have conflicting opinions about this holiday but it brings delicious chocolate yumminess to me so I say it is all good.
Valentines Day was always a fun day in our house growing up. My dad would always bring home something special for each of us and it was so exciting to wait for Dad to get home. The best year was when he gave me Michael Jackson’s Thriller album. I played that thing out on my little red record player. It was sooo cool.
Nowadays, Casey and I make each other valentines as our V Day tradition. You can see Casey’s above- he made that whole card himself! His are always so much better than the ones I make for him. (I can’t show you Casey’s yet because he hasn’t seen it!)
I am gonna go call my mom now because Valentines Day is really just about telling people you love them, right?

Aww, that’s so cute. Yay! for sensitive hubbies:) I love truffles. If you watch the food network, Alton Brown did a show on homemade truffles last night. It actually looked pretty easy!! How dangerous!

So freaking cute. You two are the bestest couple around! Yes I am a litle anti- VDay but there is nothing wrong with showing a little love in Blog-Land.
My mom used to always get us a little box of chocolates and a small gift, she was so good at remembering the little holidays like that. I certainly hope to pass that tradition on someday if I ever have kids.

I think Randy would die of embarrassment if I posted a card he gave me on the internet…hee hee!

Happy Valentines Day!
My father used to get me chocolates every year when I was a kid…just because Valentines Day is cheesey, doesn’t mean it can’t be rich in tradition too.
Right?

He always does the sweetest things, doesn’t he?!
Handmade cards are the best.

Oh, you damn cute talented people! What a great card he made.
My dad used to buy us cards every Valentines day. He would take forever picking out the right card for each of us kids. It was so sweet.
