I read Casey's post and . . . I was in Portsmouth too! My husband and I were visiting my grandparents who live about a mile outside of the town. I love it there - we spent Friday walking around the town - so quaint! Like you, for most of the time I was huddled by the fire with my knitting (and wine - keeps you warm, right?) Oh my gosh!
