Where to start?!
So this weekend… I got some awesome yarn and met some super people but more on that in a bit.
First, the eating.
Oh the eating…

(Are Carrie, Anne Marie and Jen not the most photogenic people you can imagine? Yes, they really are that adorable in person too.)
Along with the consuming of junk food and IHOP greasy goodness, there was a good amount of driving around, illegal U-turns, and stopping at traffic lights on Rt. 9, which is quite possibly the most annoying road on the planet. There are lights every 10 ft or so.
We had to entertain ourselves by taking pictures in the car:

(Again, those girls and the cuteness! Does it ever end?)
In between the eating, we squeezed in *a bit* of knitting (and drinking) in the room and Carrie helped me and my clapotis get along better. Thanks, sweetie, for your patience!

(Cutie Lara and me)
Oh right! There also was this Sheep and Wool Festival thingy!

(Look at those sweet little girls in their ponchos and hats! I couldn’t resists snapping their picture.)

(Lara, me, Casey, Carrie, and Jen. Poor Casey’s head was going to explode from all the pictures- he’s a bit shy and not angry in that picture.)
Along with all the sweet people, there was, of course, so much beautiful yarn and cute aminals.
My favorites were the alpacas and the angora rabbits (although the bunnies seemed to be in very dirty cages- tisk tisk.)

(Look! The alpaca smiled for me!)
Fuzzy alpaca head!!
I’ll post about my purchases tomorrow- I think I may have broken people’s browsers with all these pictures! I looove my yarn so much- can’t wait to show and tell!
If you actually would like to see more photos, go here to see the rest of my Rhinebeck album!
(This weekend was brought to you by Gas-X and peanut butter m&m’s. Don’t ask.)

Oh, I’m so sad I couldn’t go to Rhinebeck and meet up with all you lovely ladies! It looks like you had a fabulous time. Maybe next year . . . or Maryland . . .

I love your gallery! I’m ordering every picture! You guys were so much fun and so cute taking on the role of hosts with all the snackies in the room! Yay for Carrie and her Gas X.
I really had a lot of fun meeting you two! Did you get a lot at the festival on Day 2? I see you guys finally got to the Alpacas!

Glad to hear you had such a good time! I know exactly what you mean about Rt.9. I went to college right on RT 9 in Poughkeepsie (just down the road) and going up and down that road was always horrible. (Second only to trying to cross it on foot!

I’m so glad you all had a great time – even though I am also pouting. Oh well – I got a lot of work done this weekend

It was great to meet you – I’m always excited to meet other Boston-area knitters. Great pics, too. I can’t wait to see what you picked up.

Hi,
I saw you there with Anne Marie. Looks like you guys had just as much fun as I did at Rhinebeck. I definitely have to go back next year.

Wowza! It looks like you had a great time! Yay! (Your NY trip looks like more fun than ours…but it’s only because some of our girls are camera shy and didn’t want us to post their pics online…though I can definitely say there was more knitting in your rooms than ours!).

Ooh! SO much fun!
And I know I already said it…but I am loving your hair that short. Too cute.
