I picked them up while living abroad in Scotland for a while and they really made the history come alive for me. I like the way the historical research is done so thoroughly and well. She came to our local Chapters when I was living in Halifax. Now I'm WAITING TO BUY THE BOOK (it's so difficult!) until I see if she's stopping in Hfx this time, too, in which case I'll either take a road trip or try to get my friends to go and get it signed. If she's not stopping... gah, I don't know. I AM TOO EXCITED. I stop by the bookstore like, every day and stare at it, refusing to allow myself to touch. I've started about 15 people on them, and they are branching out to others, as well. I'm re-reading "The Fiery Cross" (could she possibly have told us about that first day in LESS than 256 pages?!?!?) so I am a bit away from starting this one.
