If you are not Julie, you can click below for the extended entry…
The invitation for my Julie’s bridal shower!
YAAY! I am so glad they are done. I am not completely thrilled with the finished product- I think it could have a bit something more… but after about 5 mock invites, I went with this design. (Thank you, Casey!! It is very, very nice to have a husband who knows his way around in-house printing…)
Tell me you like it, please… I am suffering from serious self doubt. (You remember the incredible shower Julie threw for me, dontcha? Shower Entry#1 | Shower Entry #2)
I guess it doesn’t matter because I am not doing them again- these babies are going in the mail tomorrow! YAY!

Some of the text is really blurry, e.g. I can’t read the address at all. You should have Casey look at that.

So the “in-house printing” is just a cheapo Epson printer and Omnigraffle. If you’ve got a Mac and you need to print something, for god’s sake try Omnigraffle. I used the (currently free) 4.0 beta version for most of our wedding stuff – favor tags, place cards, welcome bag cards, various signs, thank you cards. Adobe products are for the birds

Oh I feel ya with making invitations! I feel like I could start a card company after we did all our invites! (Hello – how come I never heard of Omnigraffle??)
But anyway – your invites look beautiful and I am so sure she will love them! You’re lucky that you and your friend are going through these special times together!
