Is this a sign?
Casey and I were going to get our marriage license after work today because the Cambridge Clerk’s office is open until 8pm on mondays.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t go because the police shut down Central square because manholes were exploding.
Interesting. That wasn’t in my plan for this afternoon…

Ditto to the previous two comments, I couldn’t have said it better. Expect the unexpected…and when all else fails, laugh about it! I mean, EXPLODING MANHOLE COVERS just sounds funny. Hang in there!

Don’t worry about it. Right after my hubby and I signed our marriage license I realized that the date of the signing (its on there) was APRIL FOOL’s DAY!!! We weren’t married until May 30, but we had to get it early because he was going to be out of town. Did that mean our whole marriage was going to be a joke??

I’m SO glad your MAN wasn’t exploding. (Sometimes after a few years they do leak gas a little…. even in public.)
