So much yarn & leaving Seattle
Thanks to everyone for all your ideas on Seattle! I have had a great time here and am sad to be leaving early tomorrow morning.
I will have to come back… it is really a great city.
Thanks to Lisa, I did get to a yarn store today. It is called So Much Yarn and is the an area of the city called Belltown. (maybe because it is at the end of Bell Street?) It was a nice store- a good layout and there were a few comfy couches in the back. The people there were friendly and we chatted a bit.
But what did I buy? I just got one skein of this beautiful yarn from Montana. (I know! Not from Washington… but they still don’t have this stuff back home…)
Isn’t she pretty?
She is going to be some pretty sockies and will look super with my Dansko maryjanes.
The yarn is Mountain Colors‘ Bearfoot and the colorway is Ruby River. It is really soft and the color is even prettier in person. wee!
See you soon, Beantown…
I am coming home!

Hope the return trip goes well. The sock yarn is amazing. And you’re right, it’ll look perfect with your maryjanes. Those colors!

ooo–pretty! There are no yarns stores (that I know of) around here with the couch-knitting-area thing. That would be nice. Glad you had a good trip.

So glad you had a good time!!! The yarn, she is very pretty. I like!
And re: your previous post on the cigarette drink, YUCK. That happened to me once when I was in college and once when I was in high school You’d think I’d learn.
My sister had it worse though; she accidentally drank her soda after her bf thought she was done with it and used it for spitting (he chews, disgusto!!). She nearly vommed. Seriously.
