Happy Saturday!

January 22nd, 2005

They liked it! yay!

Carrie, Casey’s 25 year old sister, tried on the dress and liked it right away. The other two, Riah-15 and Haley-17, were convinced once Carrie said she liked it. Whew!

In other news, in case you hadn’t heard- it is snowing in New England!! A LOT.

It got fairly slippery on the way back from New Hampshire but Casey did a great job staying approximately in our lane. I got a lot of knitting done on the trip up and back though- thanks to my headlamp. I should have an update soon with the last front panel of my Grace cabled cardigan! Sleeves, here I come!

We are now shut in our cozy apartment with a space heater, wine and a lovely hunk of smoked Gouda cheese. Can’t go wrong with that. :)

I just called and booked our honeymoon at the Ladera Resort… feeling happy about that but a little ill on how much it will cost. Oh well, it is our honeymoon!

Well, the cheese is calling me… Happy Saturday!

Jessica it sounds like your plans are coming along nicely!! Wouldn’t some place warm be fab right about NOW! It was 20 below yesterday morning….my Jeep wouldn’t start, and the pipes in this old farmhouse froze up. Welcome to Maine!

As soon as you email me I’m will send you an invite from Motime so that you will be able to go into the Collective Soul’s site to post & check on the progress of the journal when you feel like it. We are all ready having fun with it!

I can’t wait to see what you do! Are you going to put something knitty in it?? LOL

It’s great they liked the dress! I’m putting my bridesmaids dresses to the sister-in-law test on Sunday! It’s a scary prospect! But I’m sure they’ll like it. We’re still deciding on our honeymoon - we wanted Australia too - but we’re also probably going to end up with something a bit more affordable. The resort sounds awesome!
