Ouch!
So Casey and I both had to get up early this morning. I, as I mentioned, had to get up to go to work and Casey had scheduled an appointment to get our car’s alignment fixed. (thanks, babe!)
Both of us are laying in bed this morning, in complete denial that we have to get up at this godforsaken hour on a Saturday. Keep in mind, I have a bit of hard time waking up in the morning. (Casey will shake his head at that massive understatement.) He often has to call to me 5 times before it even registers with me that it is morning and someone is talking to me.
This morning, I was in that weird half- awake, half- asleep groggy period when I leaned up in bed to retrieve my blanket that had fallen off me again. I was mid grab when my head slammed into something equally hard… yes, Casey’s head. He had, at that exact moment, decided that it was time to get up and we somehow bonked our noggins together. Very. Hard.
Casey’s head is like cement and I have such a headache right now. I would feel bad but his head doesn’t hurt at all and mine has a big egg on the back. Casey also regularly bangs his head on stuff so he is used to it. Seriously, I have never known someone to bang their head on so many things so often. Does he not know where his head is? Cabinet doors and the corner of the fireplace mantle are particularly difficult to avoid. Silly boy.
What a way to wake up. Ouch. I think I need some motrin.
