So you wanna see my latest project?
It is the yarn that Casey bought me when we were up on PEI. I love it. I am doing a pattern that is in my one pattern a day perpetual calendar called, “Diagonal Openwork.” I wanted something lacey and sorta ribbed so that it would lie flat and not curl. I think I am going to do some kind of lacy trim in a shiny green yarn.
I like it so far and the yarn is lovely… very nice and soft to work with but it does have loops which get caught occasionally.
I know, I was not supposed to cast on anything else but I couldn’t help myself! It makes me happy because it feels nice to knit and I think about when we bought the yarn.

That yarn and pattern are beautiful! I can tell the yarn feels heavenly just by looking at the picture. It’s awesome that you will be able to have something tangible to remember when Casey proposed.
