Freaking out

September 8th, 2004

Ok, BossMan is out sick again today and we have a presentation to the faculty at noon. And you do not cancel events that you actually got faculty to say they would attend.

Guess who gets to do it?!

(bangs head on desk)

Yick! I really dislike making big presentations alone. My bosslady gave me a tip to put something quiet you can fiddle with in your pocket. You can mindlessly play with it in your pocket to soothe the jitters and still go on with your presentation. She used to use a smooth stone. I popped a paper clip into my pocket for my big scary presentation. It helps!

    Best of luck!!

    Oooh good luck with that.

My boss is going out of town for a month for school (this happens alot when you work for the Army–i’m civilian though) and guess who gets to do all the company reports? you got it! me. sigh.

Hope it went okay! Don’t you wish you could go to the boss’ house and yell at him to GET OUT OF BED NOW, MISTER!!!

I understand the difficulty, BUT the bossman not being around is by itself a great positive! You are a much better communicator anyway, so the faculty probably took more out of it as a result.
