Just to confirm it…

August 31st, 2004

I am the clumsiest person on the planet.

Yesterday, I dropped a bottle of Tide on my foot. It landed (somehow) completely upside down so that the hard cap hit the top of foot instead of the softer bottom. Ouch.

I have been hobbling around all day, favoring my injury. I am also now sporting a beautiful blue bruise.

I feel pretty!!

When is this day going to end?! We had a really good session today with the new freshman so that made me feel good. Over 150 people showed up! There wasn’t even enough chairs for everyone.

It made me a bit nervous talking in front of a group that big but I found a couple cuties in the audience who were nodding and smiling at everything I said. Sometimes you just have to focus on the nice people. :)

Yawn… why is it only 4:00??!!

Well, I better get back to the grindstone- have some thrilling tasks to accomplish before I leave!

    Hey you….

glad everything went well at work, sorry about the foot. I have had a sucky day as well.

oh and by the way…everytime you mention Carrie I think its me because that is my real name. I keep getting all excited and then its not me!!!!

I keep thinking– oh man, me and frecklegirl and like, best friends, and we talk on the phone!!! And then I realize its not me youare talking about. I know, I’m so weird.

oh, bluhh on clumsy days. Some days none of my limbs seem to move together in any sort of capable function. One time I walked into the back of someone’s truck – the part where you hook something to the back, like a boat or trailer – and OWWW! I had a bruise that was quite nasty. So here’s to hoping that tomorrow is better for you!!

This story is so me! We have a low ceiling in our basement with pipes hanging down conveniently by the washing machine. I know they are there but will run into them anyway. They are, luckily, plastic, so there’s not too much harm done! Hope your foot is feeling better.
On the freckle note, I went golfing (well, a putting course) this past weekend wearing a tank top — my freckles bloomed and I have a pretty burn now! I can relate to your fair-skinned issues as well.

    Ah-choo!
Dee: My ass is getting kicked hard and long by Mr. Ragweed and his pollen spewing thugs. Frecklegirl, meanwhile, now knows what it feels like…
