Ok- I got a note from Casey’s dad and he seems ok.
He wrote back to my apology, “Don’t sweat the small stuff, sweetie.”
What a saint. Whew.

what a guy – of course, he IS the father of the amazing Casey! I agree with him – don’t sweat the small stuff.

Aww, that is so nice. You are a sweet person to be worried about it, though. And I totally would have freaked out, TOTALLY. Yikes.

Oh that is so lovely of him. I bet you were totally upset before he replied in such a wonderful way. My god, I can’t even begin to imagine how stressed I would have been. Glad it all worked out tho!

Oh my gosh, you must have been so nervous until you heard back from him! I hate it for you. It sounds like everything is going to be okay though. (Were you really, really, really, snippy?)

Oh no! I had the same thing happen to a friend of mine as we were planning a shower for a mutual friend. We were trying — very delicately — to remove certain duties from our friend’s sister, as we knew she was way too busy to do them. She inadvertantly sent our private exchange to said sister and all hell broke loose! Glad your future dad-in-law is so cool! I’ve been following your blog for a few weeks now and have just decided to stop lurking — congrats on the engagement!
