I would be totally annoyed (don't know if annoyed is the right word, but... yeah) if someone suddenly decided they wanted to come on a trip with me (actually this is happening right now-- my sister has decided that my nephews are coming to stay at my place for two days, coming with us to Halifax). It's true, you'll be responsible for them-- and somewhat responsible for entertaining them, since at their age they're too young to drive anywhere, not old enough to go to bars, and there's not a heck of a lot for teenagers to DO in New Brunswick. Hey, yeah, I'm making this sound so much better for you, aren't I??? Sorry sorry... The sleep thing-- could it be, like, a vitamin/mineral deficiency or health related something? I was anemic for awhile and couldn't get out of bed. And my dad would be like "get up!" "Ehhhhhh... no." And youre right in that it will definitely affect the holiday that you had in mind. I think you're justified at feeling a little put out. Seriously. I am so bad about that, so I know how ya feel! Hard choice about the trip. I always feel like I don't get enough alone time with Jacob, and we spend lots of time with his fam. So maybe you guys should say no, and make plans to hang out with them when you return?
