So my day was as busy as I thought it would be. I am oh so tired.

But it was a pretty good day. I got my hair cut, which I like… I also treated myself to a manicure and pedicure (french) because I didn’t think I would have time to do my own nails before the wedding… We had a really nice time at Carolynn and Chris’ house- it is fun to make new friends. (I hope!)

Here is a quick picture of my progress with the Eros shawl for the wedding:

My friend Laura has saved the day though- she let me borrow a beautiful black shawl thing so I don’t have to stress about finishing the Eros one in time for Saturday- whew.

It was nice too- she came and got a mani/ pedi with me! I am going to miss her when she moves to California!! wah!

I went to the bead store in Harvard Square and bought some big glass dangle beads to go on the corners of the shawl. (if I finish it in time!)

I also bought some really cool beads to attach to my shoes so that they match my dress. (Yes, I know I am crazy!!) Here’s a blurry picture- sorry my camera does not take very good close-up shots…

I am going to try to post from New York but I don’t know what the internet access will be at the hotel…
