That was close!

Last night, I was happily painting my toenails (sandal season!) when Casey casually asked me where the camera was. I told him to look in my bag and then went back to what I was doing.
Hmm.. I wonder why he wants the camera? Nothing interesting is going on- watching Six Feet Under… painting toenails… with my headlamp on… HEY!!!!
Boy, that was close. He almost got a picture of me with a red headband and my headlamp on- painting my toenails. GAH!
He had a good laugh over that one. Nice try, buddy.

You forgot to mention that you had a folded up tissue stuck between your headlamp and your forehead

Using a headlamp to paint your toenails!? That’s brilliant! I knew they were handy (I always use ours when I have to crawl under the desk to hook up various hardware to the computer), but that is the best use I’ve heard of yet. I’m going to try it next time

Headlamps are the best.
I love your new bike! It looks like a real cruising machine. Happy bike riding!

Yes, Casey… Thanks for making that addition.
(I don’t want to get a mark on my forehead from it… that is why I have the tissue there.)
Sigh. All the glamour has gone from this blog now! haha

This is why I ever-so-sweetly ask Rob to paint my toenails… keeping your enemies close and all that.

No, you are so much more glamourous now that we know you occasionally use your headlamp to paint your toenails, society’s opinion be damned!! Although Casey really made me laugh when he added that thing about the Kleenex. Tee hee.
P.S. That’s a nice headlamp!
