Blizzard Slideshow
(Click to make the pictures bigger)
We stayed inside for most of the day. I knit a ton and we cooked yummy food…
Then we decided to get outside and see what the “Blizzard of 2005″ had done.
This is the view just outside our apartment building:
Here is someone skiing down our street:
We were laughing at all the cars covered by the snow until, of course, we found our own.
Look at it!! No more laughing.
Casey worked really hard. We only have one shovel so we took turns but Casey did most of the work. I did loosen up the snow but I am not sure how much I actually helped, armed with the ice scraper. haha
Almost there…
SUCCESS! GO Casey!
Casey said I shouldn’t post this one but it is too funny not to, right?!
My hands were FREEZING!
I’m sooo pretty! Yikes, that is so scary.
I just got an email saying my university is closed tomorrow! YAAY! One more day of knitting! I was a bit freaked out about how to get to work…

That snow and cold was a gift to MA from IL! hee hee. Looks like you guys got it a lot worse than us. We had prolly a foot and half i spose, buried the little pup, but she had fun. I heart snow while it makes the boy nervous (he’s from Texas). We did the same thing and stayed in, i crocheted and he made faboo stuffed shells. yay for snow!

I love that last pic! I love it! We got about a foot of snow, way less than you got! Wooooo hooooo on having a snow day!! Monkey flew into New Hampshire last night. We both were hoping for his flight to be cancelled, but it wasn’t…I’m hoping the snowfall for you all in New England is spent for now!

You poor things!
I fought my way around Chicago in the blizzard this weekend - needless to say, we were very happy that we left our car in a garage…

We just had our third storm in a week– not that it makes a lot of difference for me since I stay holed up in the house anyway, but YAY! Rob got to stay home and snuggle today!

I am jealous of your snow day, but I had my own snow too! We got a foot and a half here! I was so freaked out about driving to work, but I managed to get there! I will be in Cambridge on Wednesday! Hopefully I won’t get stuck in the snow!!!

Snow? What’s that?!
I can’t even imagine what it’s like to live somewhere where you may have to dig your car out of a pile of snow…
And I like that last picture. It’s funny

My god, I am never complaining about winter in Australia ever again
You do realise that humans just aren’t meant to live in places where that much snow falls
Actually, though, that looks like a lot of fun. I would love to wake up and find snow outside my window!
